Introduction or : Blag Post, The First

Hey.
I guess seeing as you're here you've either gone and gotten yourself lost, you're a web-spider hunting down new sites for your respective search engine, or you want to know a little about me!
Well, you're in luck if you're part of the third demographic. So here's a little something about me.

My name is Kieran Evans, and I'm currently studying Computer Science in Cardiff University, and enjoying it very much. I enjoy many types of music, first and foremost is Rock/Metal, though it doesn't end there by a long shot. As you may have guessed, yes, I'm a geek, why else would I be studying computer science eh? As a geek, I like geeky things and try my best to keep my geek card. Such things are as follows ;
  • Battlestar Galactica - The Re-imagined Series
  • Final Fantasy 7
  • Stargate (and its spin-offs)
  • Half-Life
  • Portal
  • xkcd
  • Wiping my hard drive, and installing a new OS just for the fun of solving all the new problems.
  • Linux
  • Ubuntu
  • Macs
  • Screwing with electronics
  • Programming (Java, C, C++, PHP, Javascript and basic, but who can't do basic?)
  • A Town Called Eureka
  • Final Fantasy 7
  • Anything psp-hacking related
  • Anything xbox-hacking related (Xbox 1 not 360, I dont have one :( )
  • And many more!
I like lists. They're fun. So expect more. Assuming I keep this blag up. You'll often find me buried to my eyeballs in command line prompts wondering why program x wont compile. If I'm not there, it's 6PM and The Simpsonsis on or I'm on my way to Drunksville. I like it there, it's warm and fuzzy, but it's a place I visit less and less often.

There's a few reasons I've made this blog. One is a place I can throw all the interesting links, programs, code snippets and such I find, so that I can keep it all in one place across system wipes, a sort of non-critical backup. It's also a place to express my views on things I may have views on. Sometimes it'll be a "Hey guys, check this out, it's cool!"kinda place. Any hoo, enough of that, on with the blag!
